Cameroonians Repatriated From Equatorial Guinea

Some 92 Cameroonians were Wednesday, May 27, 2009 repatriated from the neighbouring Equatorial Guinea. Their stop was the boarder town of Kiyossi, in Ebolowa. According to reports, 300 more Cameroonians were expected by Thursday. This number, include some who have decided to pack their bags and leave the country for one reason or the other.

Reports say the Equatorial Guinean authorities had announced that because of security reasons, all illegal immigrants had to regularise and make sure their documents are up to date before May 28. The Cameroonians were received by local administrators of the area and allowed to rejoin their families in the different parts of the country.
