Pastors, Teachers Awarded American University Certificates 

The event took place on at Presbyterian High School, PHS Kumba. Dr Samuel Enoh, the American-based President of the University, told the laureates to take advantage of the distant learning programme to advance their knowledge in theology, counselling, Bible studies, management and leadership studies, Christian crisis management; mediation and conflicts.

Dr. Enoh said they would offer scholarships to deserving students, while ensuring that fees remain moderate at all levels, adding that the university is a worldwide non-denominational accredited institution with the goal of excellence in training the world for Christ. While awarding the certificates, Dr. Enoh also presented admission letters to students who recently enrolled into the university.

Speaking to the press at the end of the event, Bokwe Itoe, PHS Kumba Principal, who obtained a Masters degree certificate in Management and Leadership after 15 months, explained that the correspondence course enabled him to upgrade his skills, knowledge and experience, while working.

Bokwe said he has already enrolled for a three-year PhD programme in the same domain.
Pastor George Ashu of Full Gospel Mission Bachou-Ntai, Manyu Division, who obtained BA in Theology, said though the correspondence programme was tedious and time consuming, he was a happy man with his certificate. Meanwhile, Beltus Ayuk, who obtained a Diploma in Theology after 12 months, urged the American University to continue with the correspondence programme to foster development in Cameroon.
